Second meeting of the transFAIR project

Last 5th and 6th September, Chiara went to Riga, Latvia, to meet the partners of the Transfer of Innovation Project transFAIR. During the meeting it has been discussed the state of the art of the project, especially the report of training needs’ analysis for each country, the results of the national focus groups, the improvement and adaptation that will be done to the training material of the previous FAIRstart project and, of course, it has been presented to the partners and discussed the list of new sessions that will be soon available as integration to the training material. The new sessions that will be written by famous clinical psychologist Niels Peter Rygaard will cover some topics important for every person who is taking care of an abandoned children, such as communication with biological parents, communicating to a child that he was adopted, relation of the child with the social external environment…  At the meeting it has also been decided that seed will coordinate the creation of a collection of activities that adoptive parents or caretakers can do with their children.  The meeting has really been an occasion of valuable knowledge exchange and, alltogether we discussed and came to important decisions for the good continuation of the project. Soon new material will be available!
